Hello Readers! I’ve been on break for a few weeks… I participated in a writing retreat and then came home with an unwanted friend – erm – sinus cold. Plus, here in the northern Maine woods we are in the deeeeeeep freeze of winter. Where our temps drop to 25-50 below zero.

Yes, people do live and exist in places that can kill you or freeze you solid by staying outside for more than a few minutes without the proper gazillion layers of clothing required… at times like this I am forever grateful to be spoiled with luxuries like the heated blanket that warms my icy mattress before I slide in for a good read and some snuggly sleep.

Why do people live in a climate like this? I do not have a good answer. Certainly none that is logical. But it’s where I find myself living for now so logic set aside, it’s damn cold outside so it’s a good day to stay indroos and read.

As for the writing retreat… well, I’m not quite ready to announce any new books or series just yet, but stay tuned. More to come on that soon… I hope.
